Special Issue #1
Throughout the subscription build of the Eaglemoss 1:8 scale Eleanor Mustang partworks build-up, various ‘Special Issues’ were included for purchase. These issues are automatically sent, and are billed in addition to the monthly subscription.
This first Special Issue was this 1:24 scale die-cast version of our Eleanor Mustang from Greenlight Collectibles:
I was charged $25.95 USD for it and it arrived in a few days. The rubber tires rotate, the doors open, and the detail is quite good.
Unfortunately, the trunk and hood do not open and there is no engine. In the model car world, this is typically called a ‘curbside’ style.
Ironically, this is not an item unique to our build as you can just buy it on Amazon, but it is still a nice gesture. I tend to have smaller scale models displayed with my large partwork cars, so this will make a nice addition to my collection!
