Middle Chassis Part 2

Step 39.1

Retrieve your Chassis assembly from the previous kit. Fit Middle Chassis Part 2 over the square opening at the front of Middle Chassis Part 1, aligning the various screw holes as shown:

Steps 39.3-39-3

Begin securing Middle Chassis Part 2 to the Chassis with four (4) DS02 screws, two at the front and two at the rear, as shown:

This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:

Continue securing Middle Chassis Part 2 to the Chassis with four (4) DS04 screws, two at each side, as shown:

Finish securing Middle Chassis Part 2 to the Chassis with one (1) PS08 screw, at the center rear, as shown:

Thoughts

Nine screws to hold this plastic plate in place, crazy! I don’t think it is load bearing, but is definitely locked in place.
